I mount these prints onto wooden panels, then coat them with clear protective varnish. They are available for purchase from my ETSY shop (click on the photo to visit), along with regular prints on paper or canvas. Most of my work is available as giclee prints. I realize most people don't consider goats, sheep and cows to be wildlife, but once you get to know them it becomes clear that our categories are limited. On the other hand, human beings might be the wildest of all.
I love the challenge of capturing the essence of animals in my paintings. We share a common ancestry with every single organism on earth, so that makes us quite literally one family. I feel that kinship when I encounter an animal, while also recognizing the otherness in nature's myriad forms.
Humans like to think we are special, and we are, but I believe each species is worthy of our regard and concern. Perhaps the most distinctive thing about humanity is that we are now capable of destroying life on a global scale. My hope is that we find a way to avoid disaster, partly because we perceive the beauty and diversity of our fellow passengers.
